Immortal announce new album ‘Northern Chaos Gods’

IMMORTAL have announced a brand new album!

The upcoming album, titled Northern Chaos Gods, is the highly anticipated follow up to 2009’s All Shall Fall and is scheduled to be released in July this year! The album was produced by Peter Tägtgren (Abyss Studio) who also produced At The Heart Of Winter, Damned In Black, Sons Of Northern Darkness and All Shall Fall and speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “we are eternally dedicated to IMMORTAL and our own musical past. The album is conceptual, and the first step in the reclaiming of our past grimness and attitude. Loyalty to the fans and our own musical history is very significant in this. Our new album will soon be available, with songs from the very gates of Blashyrkh – the realm of all darkness and cold.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band will first release a 7” vinyl single of their first new song, the title track Northern Chaos Gods. The digital version of the track will be available on May 11th, while the physical single is out on May 25th.

Northern Chaos Gods is set for release on July 6th via Nuclear Blast Records.
