Imposter release new song ‘Funeral March’
IMPOSTER have released a new song!
The new song, titled Funeral March, is taken from the Brighton hardcore outfit’s upcoming debut full-length Oblivion Opens, which is scheduled to be released later this month via Quality Control HQ.
Speaking about the track, vocalist Rory O’Neill comments, “Life is pain. Our natural state is death, free of all pain and suffering. Sink down to the call of the Funeral March and embrace it because it’ll only knock sooner or later.”

Oblivion Opens was recorded in late 2023 with Stanley Gravett at Holy Mountain Studios and mixed by Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios in Massachusetts.
Speaking about the album, O’Neill comments, “Oblivion Opens comes from losing grip on your mortality – it’s primitively terrifying, but life on earth can be much more sickening. I drew the cover art to represent this vision of terror that I faced, based on old depictions of hell by Hieronymous Bosch and Johfra Bosschart.”
