Incantation announce new album ‘Unholy Deification’
INCANTATION have announced a new album!
Titled Unholy Deification, the upcoming album from the American death metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s Sect Of Vile Divinities, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Relapse Records.
Speaking about the upcoming album, frontman John McEntee says, “I’m not interested in playing it safe. I think other people feel that there are limits to what we do. However, I don’t see it that way. If it feels right, then it’s INCANTATION. The songs we write are an honest expression of ourselves. When people hear the new album, I hope they think, ‘Why are these guys so pissed off?!’ Rage gives focus, which is why this album turned out the way it did.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Concordat (The Pact) I.
