InDevth announce new EP ‘DROWNING’
INDEVTH have announced a new EP!
Titled DROWNING, the upcoming EP from the South England metalcore band is the follow-up to 2021’s Cold, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via self-release.
Speaking about the upcoming new EP, vocalist Sam Culverwell says, “DROWNING is ultimately all about loss, last year was a hard year, and honestly I spent most of it alone, feeling trapped by a lot of things going on around me I had no control over. And lyrically, honestly I just wanted to write something raw, aggressive and violent that did not give a fuck, And I think we have definitely delivered on that.”
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming EP; NOTHING LEFT. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming EP, following on from LURK, which was released back in November last year.
Speaking about the new song, bassist Bobby Hembrow says, “this song feels like a drooling, Hulk-like beast; it’s got a kind of oozing, sludge swagger to it. I think this is a good snapshot into where the band is heading.”
