InnerWish release new song ‘The Enemy Inside’

INNERWISH have released a brand new single!

Titled The Enemy Inside, the new single from the Greek heavy/power metal outfit marks their first new music since their latest studio album, Ash Of Eternal Flame, which was released in November last year, via Reigning Phoenix Music.

The new single explores the shadowy world of espionage, with lyrics inspired by the moral complexities of spy life – most notably portrayed in Steven Spielberg’s Munich. Musically, it blends classic heavy metal with cinematic storytelling and features a clear nod to ACCEPT.

Speaking about the new single, the band shares, “well, we love ACCEPT. And songs like this one show our love for their characteristic straightforward riffing. Almost in every album of ours, we have a song of that type. Never the same, yet the influence and inspiration is there. What can we do? We love that groovy metal! The lyrics are actually inspired by the movie Munich and the life of spies, plus the continuing moral dilemmas occurring through their decisions and acts.”
