Interlaker release new song ‘Carving Circles’

INTERLAKER have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Carving Circles, is taken from the alternative duo’s upcoming self-titled debut album, which is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Hassle Records.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist David Jakes comments, “things are pretty tricky when there’s a breakup between two people with a child, as many will know. I moved back to Cambridge from London when this happened to me, so I missed quite a few of my daughter’s big birthdays as a result; I looked at a lot of them through photos and FaceTime. That’s what Carving Circles is about; there are a few moody and darker moments that pop up on this record but this track particularly encapsulates that feeling perfectly.”

Guitarist Jack Wrench adds, “on this track we didn’t worry ourselves with keeping within parameters of conventional song structure, we just followed that mood. We have only had one opportunity to play this track live, but I think it was the strongest response of the set. So we’re excited for people to get know this song.”
