INTRODUCING: Exploring Birdsong

As of late, the influx of progressive acts that pass through the rock and metal scene has been outstanding. The amount means the bar is set high for each one that comes down that path. EXPLORING BIRDSONG are ones who have taken it to the next level.

The Liverpudlian based trio have a unique sound. In this prog-rock, there are no layers of guitars or 20-minute tracks, it is simply stripped back. EXPLORING BIRDSONG have found a way to create a completely naked but complex sound in a genre where it is often not expected. Influences from 70’s icons such as Genesis and Kate Bush to modern prog acts such as TesseracT have all played a part in the bands growth. Elegant vocals and outstanding musicianship, it is no wonder that this young band have already secured a chance to write a song with Sir Paul McCartney, an opportunity not offered to many in their shoes.
