INTRODUCING: MSRY

The realm of hardcore has become a hotbed for rising talent over recent years, particularly with bands like STICK TO YOUR GUNS and EVERY TIME I DIE releasing consistently top draw material grabbing the flag and running with it. They have also made the division their own with their illustrious energy levels providing some of the most enticing live performances on the circuit. Hoping to gatecrash the party are Oxford based newcomers MSRY.

Consisting of front man Kial Churcher, guitarist Charlie Bishop and drummer Keir French, the three piece have already created quite a stir with their high octane stage antics. Combining the heavy hitting grooves of STRAY FROM THE PATH with the ‘leave no obstacle unturned’ mentality of LETLIVE has already earned them support slots for PRESS TO MECO and EMPLOYED TO SERVE, which is pretty impressive considering their short tenure as a collective.

Last year MSRY unleashed their self released self titled EP which received a rapturous response, including catching the eye of BBC Introducing who labelled them as a band to watch in 2018. We caught up with the band to get some insight into how they formed and what we can expect from them in the future:
