Jo Quail releases new song ‘First Rain’

JO QUAIL has released a brand new single!

The new single, titled First Rain, is the second track lifted from the composer and sound designer’s upcoming seventh studio album Notan, which is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Adderstone Records.

Speaking about the new single, Quail shares, “First Rain arrived almost without ceremony – and seemed to emerge fully formed. It’s the first time I’ve brought piano into my recorded work, and capturing it with a very basic single mic set-up felt fitting for this piece – instinctive and unfiltered. I’ve included it on Notan because I have a strong feeling this is where it belongs.”
