Kadavar announce new album ‘I Just Want To Be A Sound’

KADAVAR have announced a new album!

Titled I Just Want To Be A Sound, the upcoming album from the German stoner/psychedelic rock band is the follow-up to 2019’s For The Dead Travel Fast, and is scheduled to be released in May this year, via Clouds Hill.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track I Just Want To Be A Sound. The new song’s accompanying music video was directed by Maximilian Wiedenhofer and features Caelian del Mare, a highly acclaimed young German/Turkish actor and model from Berlin.

Speaking about the new music video, the band shares, “we have long been big fans of Maximilian Wiedenhofer and his work. His unique visual language and often gloomy images bring a whole new color and perspective to the music he illustrates. For I Just Want To Be a Sound, for example, we focused exclusively on the sound, both musically and visually, and he contributed a completely new perspective on it. See for yourself.”

Director Wiedenhofer says, “when I heard the song for the first time, I started dreaming of a drifter and the displacement of his world. Hallucinating visualizations of sound, of dark shreds of the other side, where the digital begins to dream.”

This band bullied me just because I didn’t think it was very rock and roll of them to all be wearing dresses. Hard pass and will definitely be leaving a one star review on this release. Artists need to not belittle their fans and expect it to not have repercussions. They got their other fans to start belittling me too. Pretty ridiculous to hurt my feelings and bully me for stating an opinion.
