Kant announce new album ‘Paranoia Pilgrimage’
KANT have announced a new album!
Titled Paranoia Pilgrimage, the upcoming album from the German heavy psychedelic rock band is the follow-up to last year’s When The Strangers Come To Town, and is scheduled to be released later this month, via Sound Of Liberation Records.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Baba Yaga.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist/guitarist Marius Seidel says, “Baba Yaga is the second song of the album and single, inspired by the slavic fairytale. I once stumbled upon this story by listening to the interpretation of Pictures Of An Exhibition by EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER. After hearing the two songs The Hut and The Curse Of Baba Yaga, I took a dive into the lore of this pretty scary fairytale. The musical result after all is a song, where the overall construction is more of a story telling approach, than a linear verse- chorus-structure.”
