Katatonia announce new album ‘Sky Void Of Scars’
KATATONIA have announced a new album!
Titled Sky Void Of Scars, the upcoming album from the Swedish melancholic metal band is the follow-up to 2020’s City Burials, and is scheduled to be released in January next year, making their label debut at new home Napalm Records.
Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “our 12th album, Sky Void Of Stars is a dynamic journey through vibrant darkness. Born out of yearning for what was lost and not found, the very peripheries of the unreachable, but composed and condensed into human form and presented as sounds and words true to the KATATONIA signum. No stars here, just violent rain.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Atrium.
