Katatonia release new cover of KISS’ ‘A World Without Heroes’

KATATONIA have released a brand new song!

The new release features their hauntingly beautiful rendition of the KISS classic A World Without Heroes, originally available as an exclusive bonus track on the mediabook edition of their latest studio album Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State, which was released in June via Napalm Records. The digital edition also includes the second bonus track, Wind of No Change – Karin Park Remix.

Speaking about the release, vocalist Jonas Renkse says, “a final single from the Nightmares… session, a cover of KISSA World Without Heroes which is one of the songs we usually listen to in the dressing room before going on stage. For us, it now also serves as a memory of Ace Frehley’s legacy. Nico’s rendition of his solo is nothing short of amazing! Also, this release includes Karin Park’s outstanding remix of Wind of No Change. Enjoy, and come see us in Europe this fall/winter!”
