Kris Barras Band announce new album ‘Death Valley Paradise’

KRIS BARRAS BAND have announced a new album!

Titled Death Valley Paradise, the upcoming album from the group fronted by ex-MMA/cage fighter Kris Barras, is the follow up to 2019’s Light It Up, and is scheduled to be released in March next year via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group.

Death Valley Paradise‘s 11 tracks were produced by Dan Weller [ENTER SHIKARI, BURY TOMORROW, SIKTH] and recorded at VADA Studios in Alcester. The band’s third album also sees Barras collaborating with prolific song writers such as Jonny Andrews [THREE DAYS GRACE, FOZZY], Bob Marlette [ALICE COOPER, AIRBOURNE, ROB ZOMBIE], Blair Daly [HALESTORM, BLACK STONE CHERRY], and Zac Maloy [SHINEDOWN, TYLER BRYANT] to create a heavier, more introspective, but enormous sound.

Talking about the experiences during the pandemic and subsequent writing of the album, Barras says, “to survive and thrive in those circumstances and find your paradise in it. For me, it sums up the journey I’ve been through. As a musician, you were put into a place where it was hard to survive, and you had to do different things to keep it moving.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, KRIS BARRAS BAND have also released a new music video for new single, My Parade. Dubbed their most anthemic song to date, the video draws influence from film franchise The Purge. Speaking about the new song, Barras adds, “it says this is my parade, but it’s collective, it’s our parade. This is my life, and this is how I’m gonna live it and if you don’t like it. Fuck off.”
