Kvaen sign with Metal Blade Records

KVAEN have signed with Metal Blade Records!

Since forming in 2019, the Swedish melodic death/black metal band have been making waves in the underground and now, the band are taking the next step in their career through signing with Metal Blade Records.

To date, the band has two records under their belt, 2020’s The Funeral Pyre and 2022’s The Great Below. Last year, the band toured all over Europe for five weeks supporting INSOMNIUM. “Playing in front of hundreds of people every night and getting an amazing response is without a doubt one of the highlights in KVAEN‘s history as a live act,” reflects band mastermind Jacob Björnfot. “Touring for five weeks can be rough, but having people like the guys from INSOMNIUM and IN MOURNING, as well as the crew was nothing but excellent. I thought it would be harder but honestly it was easier than expected. I normally don’t hang out that much with people. I live in the middle of absolute nowhere and have nothing but forests and snow around me but I had the time of my life and I can’t wait to get back on the road again with the new album!”

Now, under the banner of Metal Blade, the band will release their next album. More details on the album will be unveiled in due course.
