Kvelertak announce new video game ‘Game of Doom’
KVELERTAK have announced a special video game!
Titled Game of Doom, the brand new game from the Norwegian metallers takes fans and singer Ivar Nikolaisen on an epic quest through a retro-style maze where they are tasked with finding the other band members, as well as defeating the ghost of Tagholdt, who haunts a local museum and is a character from the song Fanden ta dette hull!.
The game is available now for Apple users and for Android users. Speaking about the release of the special retro game, the band says, “your favourite superheroes are finally back – in a game where you can swing a REAL axe!”
In addition to the release of the retro video game, the band have released an accompanying EP. The four track EP features 8-bit versions of songs that you can hear throughout the game. The songs are originally taken from the band’s 2020 album Splid.
