Laura Jane Grace & The Devouring Mothers release new song ‘Reality Bites’

LAURA JANE GRACE & THE DEVOURING MOTHERS have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Reality Bites, is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Bought To Rot which is scheduled to be released in November.

The new song was written by Grace in collaboration with A GIANT DOG and SWEET SPIRIT’s Sabrina Ellis.

Speaking about the record, Laura Jane Grace says, “my approach musically to the record was that I wanted it to feel like a mixtape. Like OK, you’ve got this NIRVANA-like song, you’ve got a CURE song. It was musically freeing, in that way, to just be playing whatever was coming to me as I was writing and not having to think about it. I don’t want to write about these same things anymore. I need some new sources of inspiration. And I don’t want to be negative. I want to write some positive, happy songs, and I wanted that to be inspired by positive, happy living, too.”

Bought To Rot is set for release on November 9th via Bloodshot Records.
