Lionize announce new album ‘Nuclear Soul’
LIONIZE have announced a brand new album!
The upcoming album, titled Nuclear Soul, follows 2014’s Jetpack Soundtrack and is scheduled to be released in September this year. Nuclear Soul was recorded locally in Maryland, USA and is produced by CLUTCH‘s Jean Paul Gaster with J. Robbins and the band themselves. Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band has also revealed the first single from the upcoming record, titled Blindness To Danger. Speaking about the new song, bassist Hank Upton says, “so much of our career as a band has been following our instincts and running headlong into the unknown with no regard for how insane a tour/show/song idea might be. I feel like that passion & willingness to take a risk has gotten us very far. Naturally, though, you’re walking a tightrope. Same goes for your personal life with romance or substances, etc. Passion and heart will take you everywhere but where’s the line? I was trying to investigate that feeling.”

To build anticipation for the upcoming album, the band will spend the summer touring the US and the UK, which includes appearances at this year’s Ramblin’ Man Fair and Bloodstock Open Air Festival. Tour dates are as follows:
