LIVE REVIEW: The Warning @ O2 Forum Kentish Town, London

THE WARNING ended their European and UK tour with a sold out show at O2 Forum Kentish Town in the UK’s capital. A fitting conclusion for the rock trio from Mexico.

International metalcore outfit, CONQUER DIVIDE were the first and only band to warm up the crowd for the night’s headliners, and supporting their latest album, last year’s Slow Burn, the energy the band exuded kept the crowd’s attention firmly on them. The two vocalists worked seamlessly together, with their clean singing from one, and screams from the other, to rile the crowd up and it worked oh so well, especially with mosh pits that formed during their set. A fine opening and one that set the stage nicely for THE WARNING.

As soon as THE WARNING graced the stage, they were immediately welcomed lovingly by their fanbase. From the moment, they played their first song, S!ck, the excitement spread throughout the entire venue. Each band member exuded charisma for their fans, that you couldn’t help but smile at how much they interacted with their fans.

The onstage presence made seeing their performances enjoyable and a reminder that when it comes to rock music, the formula doesn’t have to change as long as it keep sounding fresh in a live setting. And that’s exactly what happened with THE WARNING.

The biggest highlight was hearing the fans sing along in Spanish to Qué Más Quieres, which was impressive in itself, but it shows it doesn’t matter what language a song is in, as long as it resonates with the fan, it will always create the fact that all types of music will bring people together.

Songs like Money resulted in big cheers as soon as they heard the bass intro, and was so far the grooviest song which got people dancing to while other songs like Hell You Can call made the fans chant along with the band, which gave numerous people in attendance goosebumps.

Overall, THE WARNING made sure to let everyone in that room on why they can sell out shows, and also keeping rock music from becoming stale.

Rating: 9/10
