Lizzy Farrall releases new song ‘Body In Your Basement’

LIZZY FARRALL has released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Body In Your Basement, is the brand new single from the UK alternative artist and follows on from her previous single, MadHotel, which was released last month.

Speaking about the new song, Farrall shares, “I was debating to go into detail about the meaning behind this song as it’s very personal to me. However I feel I’ve always been very transparent with past releases, about how I use music as a coping mechanism.

Within the last two years I was diagnosed with complex PTSD. Before that I had no real understanding of what PTSD was, and had never heard of complex PTSD until then. Some months I forget I even have it, then others it completely consumes me. Body In Your Basement is based around my experience with these symptoms.

It’s not something I find very easy to talk about and I find it very isolating. I’ve now learnt that one of the most powerful ways to cope with these symptoms is to speak about it, and remember you are not alone in how you feel, and no matter how real the symptoms feel, you are safe. I hope that me speaking out about my experiences will lead others to feel safe to do so, and reach out for help when they feel safe to do so.”
