Lurk release new song ‘See-Thru’

LURK have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled See-Thru, is taken from the Chicago-based punk band’s upcoming debut album, Around The Sun, which is scheduled to be released in September this year.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Kevin Kiley says, “through music and art I’ve met some of the best people I know, but also some of the phoniest. People can try to belittle you or think you won’t catch on to their shitty behaviour, but it all surfaces one way or another.”

Recorded by Andy Nelson [JESUS PEICE, HARMS WAY, WEEKEND NACHOS], the upcoming album intends to blend the band’s influences into something distinctive and refreshingly uninhibited. “We wanted to do something that was sort of RAMONES meets DEVO meets B52S meets THE CRAMPS,” explains vocalist Kevin Kiley“A lot of those older bands could be pretty out-there, and punk can still be out-there if you want it to be.”

Around The Sun is set for release on September 17th via Pure Noise Records. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
