Mammoth Volume announce new album ‘Raised Up By Witches’

MAMMOTH VOLUME have announced a new album!

Titled Raised Up By Witches, the upcoming album from the Swedish progressive stoner rock band is the follow-up to 2022’s The Cursed Who Perform The Larvagod Rites, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Blues Funeral Recordings.

Speaking about the upcoming album, the band says, “Raised Up By Witches was meant as a themed album but became more of an open field. While still wanting to be respectful of previous fans of the band, we started to tell ourselves that MAMMOTH VOLUME is really whatever we record. So we put a thrash song on the album along with a 70s style epic and some straight-up prog rock. In the end, it turned into something completely different than planned, which is what MV is all about.”

Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Serpent In The Deep.
