Mantar release new song ‘Taurus’

MANTAR have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Taurus, is taken from the German sludge metal duo’s upcoming new album The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze which is scheduled to be released this Friday!

Speaking about their new effort, vocalist/guitarist Hanno tells Distorted Sound at last weekend’s Bloodstock Festival, “the title is about the stupidity of mankind. To fall for some leaders and to refuse to think for yourself is an act as old as mankind itself. So it’s a little bit ironic to say the modern art because people always have been sheep, and the biggest problem in the world is because people don’t want to think for themselves and be their own master. I’m not only talking about politics, I’m also talking about religion and stuff like that. All of that wouldn’t be that dangerous if people would make more decisions for themselves instead of falling for others and go into the fire for a small number of crazy ass leaders.”

The Modern Art of Setting Ablaze is set for release on August 24th via Nuclear Blast Records.
