Mantra release new song ‘Run Away’

MANTRA have released a brand new song!

The song, titled Run Away, is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album Dreamland and was produced by Tom Dalegty (ROYAL BLOOD, GHOST, PIXIES).

Speaking about the track, vocalist Simon Stark says, “Run Away has an undercurrent of low grade malaise running through the lyrics, mirroring the tension in the verse, and thematically explores self-esteem growing up during the austerity years. It’s is another track that Tom Dalgety really helped to shape, he had great ideas on how to get the chorus to stand out. When I was writing it, I wanted to play with the dynamics in the verse using stabs of distortion within the tension of that Jaws style riff, so the listener is kept on their toes”.
