Marisa And The Moths release new music video for ‘SAD’
MARISA AND THE MOTHS have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track SAD, is taken from the alternative rock band’s upcoming new album, What Doesn’t Kill You, which is scheduled to be released in May this year.
Speaking about the new music video, the band says, “the music video for SAD portrays the complexities of battling depression while maintaining a facade of happiness. Marisa’s solo performance subtly conveys the emotions of isolation, loneliness, and vulnerability, against the neon-like backdrop reminiscent of a teenage girl’s birthday party. The video perfectly complements the upbeat pop-rock sound of the music. It’s a thought-provoking exploration of personal struggles due to societal expectations, including self-medicating and social masking, inviting viewers to reflect on the universal challenges of fitting in while staying true to oneself.”
