Marthe signs with Southern Lord Recordings

One woman black metal-crust entity MARTHE has signed with Southern Lord Recordings!

The creation of musician, Marzia, who has played drums in several Italian crust punk bands as well as guitars in death post-rock punk outfit HORROR VACUI, her solo black metal venture is antifacist, feminist and misanthropic.

After making a buzz in the underground through demo Victimized and EP Sisters Of Darkness, MARTHE is bound to make her next big step by joining notable extreme music label Southern Lord Recordings.

Speaking about the artist joining Southern Lord, label curator SUNN 0)))/GOATSNAKE member Greg Anderson says, “the music is dark, powerful, intense crust injected black metal that to my ears sounds somewhere between BATHORY and TRAGEDY.”
