Maxi Curnow releases new music video for ‘Chased By Wolves’

MAXI CURNOW has released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Chased By Wolves, is the brand new single from the talented multi-instrumentalist. The track is the third in a series of singles, following Fire Eater and Tar & Honey. The string of singles will be followed by his upcoming album, details of which will be revealed in due course. The new single was crafted with the help of producer George Lever [LOATHE, SLEEP TOKEN].

Speaking about the new single, Maxi himself says, “Chased By Wolves is about dealing with mental health by opening up, reaching out and getting through life’s challenges together. It’s about how we learn to recover and become stronger from hardship, in a cycle of transformation and compassion.

My alter ego/character Kiln represents a primal force that reminds me of a human nature that’s being forgotten in this age of technological advancement and convenience. In Chased By Wolves, he represents a future self in times of hardship, who helps to guide the protagonist through recovery. Over time they merge and the cycle repeats, representing how we must reinvent and learn to become compassionate towards ourselves over and over again in life.

Now more than ever, we need to check in on our mates, and feel able reach out for support if we need it. I know that for me, music and the kindness of friends and strangers helped me through the toughest of times. I hope this music video can encourage people to look out for one another, and seek help if they need it.”
