Mayhem announce new album ‘Liturgy Of Death’
MAYHEM have announced a brand new album!
Titled Liturgy of Death, the upcoming album from the Norwegian black metal legends is their seventh full-length record and is scheduled to be released on February 12th, 2026 via Century Media Records. The album is the long-awaited follow-up to 2019’s Daemon, marking their first studio release in seven years.
Four decades into their career, the band turn their focus toward the inescapable reality of death, examining loss, fear of dying, powerlessness and the fragility of existence through a stark and unrelenting lens.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a brand new single, titled Weep For Nothing.
