Metal For Good launch new artist collabs for Metal Merch Day 2025!

Metal For Good have announced a brand new wave of artist collaborations ahead of Metal Merch Day 2025!

Now in its third year, the annual fundraising campaign has taken place throughout today, Friday, October 24th, and encouraged rock and metal fans to wear their favourite band merch and donate to support UK-based community projects. Fans can contribute via the official Just Giving page or purchase exclusive merchandise from the event.

This year’s campaign features a selection of limited edition artist collabs, including exclusive designs from MASSIVE WAGONS, HERIOT, and BLACK SPIDERS, alongside a special t-shirt endorsed by the Metal God himself, Rob Halford of JUDAS PRIEST.

Speaking about their involvement, Baz from MASSIVE WAGONS says, “it’s amazing to be involved with such a proactive and forward thinking group of people like Metal For Good, their ideas are ace, and Metal Merch Day is just another great example of how they raise awareness and funds to help those struggling. We have based our design around the original artwork for our track In It Together. We think it looks great, I hope it sells well and raises some good funds for the cause!”

HERIOT, official ambassadors of the charity, are supporting the campaign through the release of an exclusive charity mug, while BLACK SPIDERS have backed the initiative with a one-off t-shirt design.
All merchandise, including the official Metal Merch Day 2025 t-shirt designed by Rory Petts (aka GraphicsFix), will be available here.

In addition, the Metal For Good eBay auction is now live and runs until 8pm on Monday, October 27th. The auction features rare and unique memorabilia donated by artists including RIVAL SONS, IRON MAIDEN, THOSE DAMN CROWS, COHEED AND CAMBRIA, CREEPER, and many more. Download Festival legend Andy Copping has also contributed dozens of items from his personal collection. The auction can be accessed here.

“I love Metal For Good and what they stand for,” says Andy Copping. “Once I was told they were doing a merch auction for their cause, I was more than happy to contribute. Going through some drawers at home and finding some classic merch pieces from years gone by, it felt good to know these were going to be put to good use!”

All proceeds will go towards funding UK community projects that use music to improve mental health, unlock young potential, and amplify underrepresented voices. Recent grant recipients include Scrapyard Studios, Building Circles: Gig Buddies, New Note Orchestra, and Shoreham Allstars.

“Last year saw 1000s of music fans come together to celebrate their love of music merch and raise funds for incredible community projects using music to change lives,” says Katy Baker, Co-founder of Metal For Good. “We are so excited to have the mighty Metal God – Rob Halford support the campaign alongside other amazing artists, brands and our charity ambassadors! We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together in 2025.”
