Mono announce new album ‘Nowhere Now Here’
MONO have announced a new album!
The new album, titled Nowhere Now Here, was recorded with producer Steve Albini and is scheduled to be released in January next year.
The album sees the band’s first-ever lineup change, adding new drummer Dahm Majuri Cipolla (THE PHANTOM FAMILY HALO) to the core trio of Goto, Tamaki, and Yoda and sees them add electronics to their repertoire; perhaps inspired by guitarist/composer Takaakira Taka Goto’s recent collaboration with John McEntire.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have revealed a short film for new track After You Comes The Flood. The short film was directed by Julien Levy.
