Moodring announce new album ‘death fetish’
MOODRING have announced a brand new album!
The Florida alt metal outfit have announced their new album, death fetish, set for release on March 27th via SharpTone Records. The upcoming album is the follow-up to 2022’s Stargazer and intends to mark a defining and deeply personal new chapter for founder and frontman Hunter Young.
To coincide with the announcement, the band have released a new single, Masochist Machine, complete with an accompanying video. The new song is the latest single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Cannibal and Half-Life.
Speaking about the track, Young comments, “Masochist Machine is about being used by your own addictions and obsessive compulsions. A losing struggle against illicit drugs, sex, and a longing for any kind of release from this life. This coincides with a retrofuturistic musical backdrop, seeking another form of escapism.”
