motions release new music video for ‘Six 100’
MOTIONS have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Six 100, is taken from the Teesside-based post-metal outfit’s upcoming self-titled debut album which is scheduled to be released in April this year via Press On Vinyl and Fairsound Music. It follows previous single Dead Seeds, which was released in February and premiered here on Distorted Sound.
Speaking about the new song, the band comment, “Six 100 is about the need for oblivion through intoxication. Frontman Jonny spent a decade working in supporting people with drugs and alcohol addiction. At first it’s a choice, but choice is quickly removed – the thundering guitars and blistering vocals emphasise the speed at which life can descend into chaos. The lyrics to the melodic chorus ‘I don’t remember the nightmares, my only memories are dead because of you,’ reflect the dichotomy of addiction and the need to forget and numb the pain.”
