Mötley Crüe announce new EP ‘Cancelled’
MÖTLEY CRÜE have announced a new EP!
Titled Cancelled, the upcoming EP from the legendary glam/hard rock band marks their first new music since 2019, and is scheduled to be released in October this year, via Big Machine Records.
“It was really great getting in the studio and working on some tracks together,” shares the band about the upcoming EP. “What started out as a couple demo ideas turned into this EP produced by Bob Rock. We look forward to getting back into the studio again soon and writing more new music, as well.”
Alongside the announcement of the new EP, the band have released a new song from the upcoming EP; a cover of the BEASTIE BOYS‘ Fight For Your Right. The new song is the second single to be released from the upcoming EP, following on from Dogs Of War, which was released back in April.
The new cover has quickly become a fan favourite since the band first debuted the song live during their secret 2023 club show at The Underworld in London, UK. At its premiere, 450 lucky, sweat-drenched fans who had come out to see a band advertised as DOGS OF WAR got the surprise of a lifetime when the band took the stage with the BEASTIE BOYS classic in their set list.
