Movements announce new album ‘RUCKUS!’
MOVEMENTS have announced a new album!
Titled RUCKUS!, the upcoming album from the Californian post-hardcore band is the follow-up to 2020’s No Good Left To Give, and is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Fearless Records.
Produced by longtime collaborator Will Yip [CIRCA SURVIVE, CODE ORANGE], the album intends to fuse post-hardcore and punk influences with a healthy dose of pop songcraft to create an album that defies scene conventions in favour of something wholly unique. Speaking about the recording process, vocalist Patrick Miranda says, “I truly don’t believe that it could have been a more streamlined process and I don’t think we’ve ever written music that’s as good as what we put together for this record.”
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; Heaven Sent. The new song is the third single to be released from the upcoming album, following on from Killing Time and Lead Pipe which were both released simultaneously back in April.
