North announce new EP ‘We Are, We Remain…’
NORTH have announced a new EP!
Titled We Are, We Remain… the upcoming EP from the Polish blackened death metal band is the long-awaited follow-up to 2011’s Czekając na sztorm, and is scheduled to be released later this month, via Pagan Records.
The upcoming EP features a mix of brand new tracks, a re-recorded classic Hymn To Winter (from the debut ‘92 demo) and a BATHORY cover. Thematically, the EP delves into pagan lore and history, drawing inspiration from the works of 19th-century Polish poet Roman Zmorski, a figurehead of the ‘black romanticism’ movement.
Speaking about their return, the band says, “we are happy to cooperate with Pagan Records again. After a long break, we’re excited to finally unleash a torrent of new material we’ve been working on relentlessly.”
