North Atlas release new music video for ‘Dead Tree’

NORTH ATLAS have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track Dead Tree, is the brand new single from the Scottish alternative rock band and marks their first new music since their 2023 EP The Longest Shadow Attached To The Ankle.

Speaking about the new song, and its accompanying music video, vocalist Leon Hunter says, “Dead Tree is a song about being stuck in your own head, more specifically, stuck in the grey area in which your moral compass sits. You want to feel alive and grow with the world around you but often it feels like an immoral dead place.

This video is a reimagining of Scottish folk ritual. A burst of energy, where all participants are masked. There’s something about becoming disembodied when you wear a mask, it’s present in all human cultures. You become something else. Or are you more yourself when you are disguised.”
