Alongside the announcement of the next batch bands for next year’s festival, the organisers of North of the Wall have also confirmed the first pre-festival event featuring SOAR who will perform an extended set, SOJOURNER and ÚIR. The pre-show will take place on April 26th, the day before the official festival kicks off. Speaking about the upcoming performance, SOJOURNER says, “we’re incredibly honoured to have been asked to co-headline alongside a band we respect as highly as SAOR, and for a pre-show to one of the best metal festivals in the UK! We’re excited to be able to debut the band live for the very first time for what is likely to be one of our only live shows for the foreseeable future, as we have members coming from as far-afield as Sweden and Italy. The core band will be joined by four guest live musicians filling in on keys, tin whistle, bass, and third guitar/backing vocals to fill out the full line-up. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone both at the pre-show and as fans at North of the Wall Festival.”
North of the Wall Festival takes place at The Garage, Glasgow on April 27 & 28th 2018.
