Oberst release new song ‘Vagabonds’

OBERST have released a new song!

The new song, titled Vagabonds, is the brand new single from the Norwegian hardcore punk quartet and is taken from their debut LP, with more news coming shortly.

Speaking about the new song, the band says, “Vagabonds is probably the most accessible and catchy song on the album, even though the theme of it revolves around heavy concepts like fleeing from persecution. The verse has a really cool and gritty country-vibe, probably a little inspired by bands like BARONESS, while the chorus is a big and memorable anthem.”

Speaking about the, as-of-yet, untitled upcoming album, guitarist Dennis Estensen says, “the process of making this album took a lot of effort and a long time for us. I feel we really took a giant leap from our debut EP in terms of songwriting and production. We’re really proud to finally release it to the world, and even more proud to get this out with Indie Recordings behind the release. I feel this record is going to sound fresh and exciting for a lot of people, not just for the typical rock & metal fan.”
