Of Allies release new music video for ‘In The Air Tonight’

OF ALLIES have released a new music video!

The new music video, for the track In The Air Tonight, is a cover of the Phil Collins classic and is the first new music from the band since the release of 2017’s Night Sky.

Speaking about the cover, vocalist and guitarist Rich Nichols says, “I think Phil Collins is one of the best British songwriters of all time. I’ve always loved In the Air Tonight and remember hearing it vividly as a child. Something about the general vibe and ambience of the song always stuck with me. I love everything about it from a songwriters point of view, it has the structure, the dynamics, the emotion and that incredible drum intro. I’ve been toying with the idea of doing something with it but was always scared to touch the song as it’s loved by so many people. It seemed like the right time so I started work on my take on the song. I wanted to pay homage to it but make sure it had that classic OF ALLIES sound and I’m really happy with how its turned out.”
