Oh Hiroshima announce new album ‘Myriad’
OH HIROSHIMA have announced a new album!
Titled Myriad, the upcoming album from the Swedish post-rock duo is the follow-up to 2019’s Oscillation and is scheduled to be released in March next year, via Napalm Records.
The upcoming album was recorded by Kristian Karlsson [PG.LOST, CULT OF LUNA], and was once again mixed and mastered by CULT OF LUNA’s Magnus Lindberg. With Myriad, the band intend to demonstrate outstanding ability – melding captivating melody with epic, fulminating fervency.
Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new music video for the first song lifted from the upcoming album; Humane. Speaking about the song and its accompanying music video, band mastermind Jakob Hemström says, “Humane might be the most direct and intense song we’ve created as a band. For us it marks a somewhat new direction that we wanted to explore and we’re very proud of how it turned out. We felt right away that this was the first song of the new album we wanted our listeners to hear. The lyrics revolve around themes of human hubris and the video was filmed, directed and edited by our drummer, Oskar.”
