OHHMS release new song ‘Eaten Alive’
OHHMS have released a brand new song!
The new song, titled Eaten Alive, is the brand new single from the UK-based doom metal band and follows on from their last single, The Mephisto Waltz, which was released back in April.
The new single provides the latest glimpse into the band’s upcoming studio album, Rot, which is expected to be released in March next year. More information on the upcoming album will be unveiled in the coming months.
Speaking about the new song, vocalist Paul Waller says, “lyrically, Eaten Alive was inspired by our love of horror films, this time around specifically Tobe Hooper’s follow up to Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1976 which, coincidentally, as luck would have it is also entitled Eaten Alive. Musically, we took our passion for 90s, raw, independent and alternative punk rock and we thrashed it out in the practice room but we’re a sludgy stoner rock band at heart and relished mixing these two styles together, this is the result.”
