Other Half release new song ‘Pastoral Existence’

OTHER HALF have released a brand new song!

The new song, titled Pastoral Existence, is taken from the Norwich-based post-hardcore band’s upcoming new album, Dark Ageism, which is scheduled to be released later this month, via Big Scary Monsters.

“All our songs are set in cities, and really I just wanted to fuck with the mould a bit, like when they just lump UK sitcoms on holiday for the sake of making it more ‘cinematic’. This is our Inbetweeners Movie, but ya know, really horrible,” says vocalist Cal about the new single. “I’ve always been stuck between the push and pull of wanting both a quieter and more chaotic life. Too much of one, just ends up stoking the other. Pastoral Existence is what having your cake and eating it looks like; a weird druggy daydream about upending and moving to the countryside whilst doubling down on all the nasty shit that usually populates an OTHER HALF song.”

Dark Ageism is set for release on June 21st via Big Scary Monsters. Pre-orders are available now and can be purchased here.
