Party Cannon release new music video for ‘Not Immediately Life Threatening’
PARTY CANNON have released a new music video!
The new music video, for the track Not Immediately Life Threatening, is taken from the UK death metal band’s upcoming new album, Injuries Are Inevitable, which is scheduled to be released in April this year.
Speaking about the new song, bassist Clankenstein says, “these are some calorifically dense riffs. These riffs are definitely going to exceed your macro goals for the week. We wanted to have a song so slimy, so beefy, so irresponsible to throw into our live set for when we feel the IQ is just a little too high in the room. Musically this is a love letter to bands like DEHUMANIZED, WAKING THE CADAVER and LUST OF DECAY – the forbidden, spicy death metal bands.”
Speaking about the new song’s accompanying music video, the band adds, “the video continues with our goal of avoiding the usual performance style video in favour of something that’s as visually IQ-lowering as the music. Directed and produced again by Calum ‘Saint of Patience’ McMillan, the video is somewhere between the Saw movies and that old MTV show Fist Of Zen I used to watch at 2am instead of getting enough sleep before school. Our good friend Bailey from Scapegoat Productions plays the enigmatic skull figure intent on taking down Party Slam in the most devious of ways.”
