Portrayal Of Guilt announce new album ‘…Beginning of the End’
PORTRAYAL OF GUILT have announced a brand new album!
The Austin, Texas trio have announced their new album, …Beginning of the End, set for release in April this year via Run For Cover Records. The record sees the Austin trio distilling a decade of experimentation into a single body of work, revisiting the raw intensity of their earlier material while incorporating elements of nu‑metal, alternative rock, trip‑hop and dark ambient. Their new album was recorded and mixed by Phillip Odom between March and June 2025, with mastering by Will Yip, marking their fourth full-length in eight years.
Alongside the announcement, the band have released the first two singles from the album, Ecstasy and Human Terror. Both tracks serve as the first preview of the album’s wide-reaching sound, arriving today with an official video for Ecstasy directed by Craig Murray, and a visualiser for Human Terror.
