PREMIERE: Discordian – Radian

We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the new album from Ohio doom/sludge merchants RADIAN!

Titled Discordian, the upcoming album from the Ohio-based doom/sludge metal band is their second full length-record and ahead of its release on Friday, we are delighted to give the album its official premiere!

The new album was recorded and engineered at Akron Recording Company in September of 2020 by Sanford Parker, who provides synth elements to the album. Parker mixed the album at his Hypercube Studio in Chicago, after which it was mastered by Colin Jordan at Boiler Room Mastering in Chicago.

Speaking about the album, vocalist Jeff Fahl tells us, “human experience. Man’s isolation within himself. Reality is for one only. One’s order is another’s chaos. So on and so forth.
Each moment is a doorway to new worlds. And each one of us exists to solely pass through and discover. Lost and free, we take only what we can carry and in turn leave part of ourselves behind. Our reality is ours alone and we are merely a part of an infinite dream.”
