PREMIERE: Dragged Into Hell – Embodiment

Distorted Sound is delighted to premiere the brand new song from EMBODIMENT!

Fresh off the back of their crushing set at this year’s UK Tech-Fest (read our review of their set here) the four piece are giving us a preview of what’s to come with their new single Dragged Into Hell. Citing their influences as NECROPHAGIST, DECAPITATED and UNEARTH amongst others, the Bristol/Bath based melodic tech metal act have been making waves and their efforts did not go unnoticed as they won their Metal 2 The Masses final heat last year.

This is their first release since their debut in 2015, frontman Harry Smithson says, “we decided to release Dragged Into Hell as a standalone single, to give everyone a taste of how we’ve progressed as a band since our 2015 self titled album. It’s got everything from the EMBODIMENT formula: blasting drums, death growls and catchy riffs that’ll be stuck in your head for days and leave you wanting more.  We worked with Pete Heyes and Die Cut Media for the artwork and lyric video, as we have worked with them for merch and photos in the past. Production duties were handled by our guitarist Finn Maxwell and Guy Joyner from Sine-Post Audio. In terms of future releases, we’ve got almost a full albums worth of material finished and we’re going to be entering the pre-production stage very soon.”
