PREMIERE: Embrace The Hive – Dead World Reclamation
We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the brand new song from DEAD WORLD RECLAMATION!
The new song, titled Embrace The Hive, is taken from the Tempe, Arizona-based technical melodic death metal band’s upcoming new album, Aura of Iniquity, which is scheduled to be released in April this year, via self-release.
Speaking about the new song, the band tells us, “Embrace The Hive is definitely one of our personal favorites in regards to the new tracks, the song combines some of our preferred tools when it comes to songwriting, in a way that we find both fun to play and listen to. Embrace The Hive asks the question of what would happen if a Cordyceps Fungus could infect humans, so once again we hope you enjoy exploring the concept with us.”

Continuing to speak about the upcoming album, the band continues, “we’re five guys who love both death metal and a good story, therefore Aura of Iniquity is a series of short stories told in death metal format. Roaming through tales of dark bargains with otherworldly beings made for power untold, forests where gargantuan spiders dictate the law of the land, to necromancy told from the viewpoint of the body possessed. While our musical influences are definitely reflected in our songs, we tried to approach this album with the mindset of just creating music we’d love to listen to. We feel we’ve grown immensely since our first release, Sentient, and hope you all enjoy the album as much as we enjoyed creating it.”
