PREMIERE: Idiomorph – Monosphere
We here at Distorted Sound are proud to premiere the new music video from MONOSPHERE!
The new music video, for the track Idiomorph, is taken from the German post-metal band’s upcoming new album, Amnesia, which is scheduled to be released in March this year, via self-release.
The new single begins where Limbic (released on January 15) left off, as main songwriter and drummer Rodney Fuchs explains to us, “it was written as one continuous song. We talked about making it a big song too, but we decided to split it up, so it’s a bit more consumable.”
The new single marks the band’s first song to feature reggaeton beats, as Rodney continues, “I came up with this idea, when reggaeton beats were almost everywhere in the Summer of 2022. I spent some time in Gran Canaria, where I had the initial idea. Why not incorporate it into a MONOSPHERE song? At first it was a joke, a trial, but then I realized it really worked, while the initial beat slowly transitions into the typical MONOSPHERE drumming, and I got the other guys hooked as well.”
