PREMIERE: Into The Grey – Prognosis

We here at Distorted Sound are delighted to premiere the new music video from PROGNOSIS!

The new music video, for the track Into The Grey, is the brand new single from the Manchester-based progressive metal band and is their first new music since the release of Definition, which was released back in 2018.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist/bassist Danny Daemon tells us, “this song is a real turning point for us, it’s a sign of better things to come and it shows how hard we’ve worked to improve our sound since we released Definition. Plus we felt we had to show the world that we weren’t dead!”

“We wanted to look into the mind of someone with depression and not only reflect those difficult, dark times, but get into the head of someone who feels they cannot break from those feelings too,” adds guitarist/vocalist Phil Weller. “It’s a topic we can all relate too in one way or another, so it felt important for us to express this with our lyrics and in the music too. So there are moments the music battles with itself, where it’s tumultuous or more reflective and defeated. But, as is always the case with this band and the tough subjects we face with our lyrics, we wanted an element of hope to be prevalent too. Ultimately, it’s that hope that drives the song on.”
