PREMIERE: Recluse – Creak

Distorted Sound is delighted to premiere the brand new song from CREAK!

Having entered the live circuits at the beginning of 2019 performing with the likes of GROUND CULTURE, DEPRAVITY, SPAWN OF DISGUST and more. Now the Newcastle metalcore newcomers return with a brand new video single, Recluse, ahead of their UK tour with GOD COMPLEX.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Jack Dunn says, “Recluse is us exposing a more melodic side of CREAK, whilst maintaining the aggression and eerie soundscapes that define us,” – “Lyrically, the song is sort of inspired by a scene you might find in a surreal, cult horror movie. It describes the sinking feeling you’re left with when calling out for help from the hole you’re stuck in – be that a literal or metaphorical one. It also tugs on the horrible realisation that the only response to your plea for help is the echo of your own voice…how that voice can sharpen as it returns to you, and how isolation can transform you into your own worst enemy.”
